1979 – Eleven audience members are trampled to Deaths at a concert headlined by the Who at Riverfront Coliseum, Cincinnati. It is drummer Kenney Jones’ first tour with the Who. Drummer Keith Moon died three months before.
1978 – Bob Marley & the Wailers headline “One Love Peace Concert” in Jamaica. Marley unites Prime Minister Michael Manley and opponent Edward Seaga on stage. 30,000 attend as Bob Marley headlines the One Love peace concert in Kingston for unemployed ghetto kids.
