2009 – Phil Spector Found Guilty of Killing Actress. Mr. Spector post engineered Let it be… the album. The man behind hits like “Da Doo Ron Ron,” and “You’ve Lost that Lovin’ Feeling,” and The beatles post production of “Let it be”, and Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame inductee, was convicted Monday for the murder of a aspiring actress, Lana Clarkson, at his mansion in 2003.
A 68 year old Spector, faces at least 18 years in prison. Spector argued that it was a case of suicide. Convicted of 2nd degree murder and Discharging a firearm.
