2005 – A day before Michael Jackson’s trial on molestation charges is due to start, the King of Pop addresses his fans via an online video message. He describes grand jury testimony leaked to TV as “disgusting and false” and asks for a fair trial.

Jury selection begins in the Michael Jackson child-molestation trial. Jackson, his lawyers and the judge see about 300 prospective jurors in the Santa Maria, Calif., courtroom.
