2004 – Imprisoned rapper Shyne (“Jimmie Choo”) sends a fax to MTV protesting his prison’s “Taliban phone rules.” The Clinton Correctional Facility denied Shyne phone privileges after it discovered he was using them to promote a new album, Godfather Buried Alive.
