Pink Floyd

1982 – Alan Parker’s film Pink Floyd’s The Wall premieres at the Leicester Square Empire in London. According to Sight and Sound, “Roger Waters flounders in woman-hating self-pity; Gerald Scarfe turns up particularly weedy examples of his animated savagery; and Alan Parker revels in the chance to make a feature-length TV commercial.”
