1967 – Two days after Mick Jagger is found guilty of drug possession and jailed, Keith Richards goes on trial for similar charges stemming from a February raid on his home. Judge Leslie Block finds him guilty of allowing his house to be used for smoking cannabis and sentences him to a year in jail. Jagger is sentenced to three months in jail. Their sentences are later suspended following a public outcry.
